Brian graduated from Harvard University in 2010 with a degree in Economics and has been a full-time tutor ever since. After college, he moved to New York City and tutored in Westchester at an elite test prep company for 12 years. He founded Standardized Quest in 2021. He has helped hundreds of students make major improvements in their standardized test scores and academic coursework.

While working as a tutor he has received a perfect 1600 on the SAT (2024, current digital version), a perfect 170 on the GRE (2016), and a 795 out of 805 (99.9th percentile) the GMAT (2024).

As a student at Poquoson high school, Brian scored a 2350 out of 2400 on the SAT (770 Verbal, 800 Math, 780 Writing) and scored 5’s on the AP exams in US History, English Language, Calculus BC, Physics C-M, and Chemistry. He was Co-Valedictorian and a National Merit Scholar.

From 2013-2018 he performed improv comedy every week on house teams at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. It is a form of comedy where quick-thinking and teamwork are essential, and he makes sure to bring the same focus, fun, and positive energy to all of his tutoring sessions.
